Coorparoo Starts Round 12 Strongly

Coorparoo are in three winning positions after day one of Sub-District Cricket Round 12.

The A1s need 10 wickets to beat Brookfield United on first innings at Filmer Park. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 135, with a fifty for Ryan Fletcher (51) and 23 for Hayden Lanza. Brookfield reached 0-17 at stumps.

The B2s are on the verge of first innings victory against Brisbane Saints at CJ Greenfield. Batting first, Cooparoo was dismissed for 175 (Manoj Kumar 69, James Paterson 36, Myles Topp 24). Amandeep Thatai (3/2) and Nitin Kashyap (2/2) combined to reduce the Saints to 7/30 by stumps, still trailing by 145 runs.

The C3s are in a strong position against the Northern Lions Gladiators at Wynnum Memorial Park. Ross Freiberg scored 75, and Michael McInerney 27, as Coorparoo was dismissed for 173. The Gladiators reached 1/64 by stumps, trailing by 109 runs.

The C1s have already lost on first innings against Ashgrove Astronauts at Enoggera Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 78 (Sam Rogers 22, Toryn Lee 20). Lee took 2/18 as Ashgrove reached 5/90 by stumps, leading by 12 runs.
