Coorparoo had a strong start to Sub-District Cricket Round 14. Three Coorparoo sides entered the last round in finals contention: A1s (third), B2s (third), and C3s (second). The A1s are in a strong position against Indooroopilly Districts at Moore Park (George Watt Oval). Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 13 with three wins, with all games played as limited-overs fixtures after the first day was washed out. Coorparoo life member Marc Fidler took his 800th wicket, Steve Pidcock passed 7,000 runs, and Jason McIntosh took seven wickets, as the C3s defeated Brisbane Saints by 178 runs at Bottomely Park. Returning to their former home ground, the Rooboys posted 6/220 in 35 overs, with a half-century to Michael McInerney (74), 37 not out

There was no play on day one of all four Coorparoo Round 13 games. The games will be played as limited-overs matches next Saturday (A1s vs Pine Rivers, Paul Jackson Oval; B2s vs Ashgrove Astronauts, Alan Pettigrew Oval 2; C1s v Bracken Ridge, McPherson Park oval 1; C3s vs Brisbane Saints, Bottomley Park).
