One Win For Rooboys in Round 13

Coorparoo picked up one win to end Sub-District Cricket Round 13.

The A1s defeated Peninsula on first innings at Filmer Park. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 200. Ben Mably scored 58 and was supported by Jeffrey Lituri (32), James Collins (31), Oliver Civil (28), and Nic Machado (24). Ben Mably (4/50) and Chris Dishot (2/31) took the majority of the wickets as Peninsula was dismissed for 196.

The C3s lost by nine wickets to Rochedale South at Underwood Park. Coorparoo was dismissed for 65 (Joe Jonathan 20), with Rochedale declaring at 9/117 (Ken Parry 4/40, Rod Taylor 3/14, Robert Guglielmi 2/10). Trailing by 52, Coorparoo was dismissed for 78 in their second innings (Liam Bulloch 24, Joe Jonathan 20). Rochedale (1/28) took 7.5 overs to reach the 27-run target.

The B3s lost by an innings and four runs to Redland Sharks Black at McPherson Park oval 1. Batting first, Redlands made 7/203 declared (Liam Edwards 2/18, Amandeep Thatai 2/26). In reply, Coorparoo was dismissed for 76 (Nitin Kashyap 20) and 123 (Thatai 38, Kashyap 37).

Sub-District Round 14 – the final round of the regular season – will be played on Saturday March 1 and Saturday March 8. The A1s play the Springwood Suns at Oliver Sporting Complex, the B3s play Taringa at Indooroopilly State High School, and the C3s play QLD Lions Blue at McPherson Park (oval 1).
