Two Results for the Rooboys in Rd 12

Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 12 with a first innings wins, a first innings tie, and an outright loss.

The C3s won on first innings against Springwood at Wynnum Memorial Park. Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Springwood for 76 (Theodore Georga 2/14, Srinivasan Vishwanathan K 2/16). Coorparoo replied with 94, a lead of 18 (Gautham Nair 23). Batting against, Springwood was dismissed for 139, a lead of 121 (Nair 2/11, Robert Guglielmi 2/21). Coorparoo reached 5/57 by stumps (Nair 24, Joe Jonathan 23 not out).

The A1s had a first innings tie with against Napoleans at CJ Greenfield. Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Napoleans for 146 (Ben Mably 3/34, Todd Duncan 3/40). In reply, Coorparoo was dismissed for 146 (Chris Dishot 30). Batting against, Napoleans (100 all out) set Coorparoo a target of 101 (Simon Fynes-Clinton 3/17, Oliver Civil 2/17, Connor Freiberg 2/26, Duncan 2/2). Coorparoo replied with 8/93 (Dishot 30), falling eight runs short of an outright win.

The B3s lost by an innings against Springwood at Oliver Sporting Complex (turf oval). Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 63. Springwood declared at 7/188 (Amandeep Thatai 2/36, Liam Fogarty 2/48), a lead of 125. Coorparoo was dismissed a second time for 108 (Nitin Kashyap 29 not out).

Sub-District Cricket Round 13 (15 February and 22 February) begins next Saturday. The A1s play Peninsula at Filmer Park, the B3s play Redland Sharks Black at McPherson Park oval 1, and the C3s play Rochedale South at Underwood Park.
