Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 11 with one win.
The A1s defeated Ashgrove on first innings at Gibson Park (north oval). Batting first, Coorparoo made 206, with 57 to Aaron Trask and 39 to Hayden Lanza. Ashgrove was dismissed for 88 – Josh Saul and Ben Mably took three wickets each, while Chris Dishot took two.
The B1s lost by two wickets to Wellington Point at Wynnum Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo made 8/160 in 35 overs (Luke Coyne 47, Amandeep Thatai 27) and Wellington Point replied with 8/164 (Liam Fogarty 2/17, Thatai 2/20, Todd Duncan 2/22) – hitting a six off the final ball to win.
The B3s lost by eight wickets to Everton Districts at McPherson Park (oval 1). Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Everton for 156, with Charlie Wilkinson taking 5/34 and Luke Fitzpatrick 2/21. Coorparoo was dismissed for 52 (Matt Simmons 25), trailing by 104 runs. Following on, Coorparoo made 114 (Gautham Nair 62, Wilkinson 22). Needing 11 to win, Everton (2/11) reached the target inside five overs.
The C4s lost by 19 runs to Bulimba at Bulimba Memorial Park. Batting first, Bulimba was dismissed for 78 in 33 overs, with Jack Fidler taking 3/14 and Michael McInerney taking 3/15. But Coorparoo replied with 59 in 26.5 overs.
Sub-District Cricket Round 12 begins next Saturday.
