Coorparoo finished Sub-District Round 12 with two first innings wins.
The A1s defeated Brookfield United on first innings at Filmer Park. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 135, with a fifty for Ryan Fletcher (51) and 23 for Hayden Lanza. Hayden Lanza (3/19), Ben Mably (3/34), and Liam Lanza (2/27) combined to dismiss Brookfield for 129.
The B2s won on first innings against Brisbane Saints at CJ Greenfield. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 175 (Manoj Kumar 69, James Paterson 36, Myles Topp 24). The Saints were dismissed for 38 in their first innings (Amandeep Thatai 3/2, Nitin Kashyap 3/6, Myles Topp 2/13) and Coorparoo enforced the follow on. Kristian Haikal took 5/46, supported by Kashyap (3/24) and Jacob McInerney (2/41), as the Saints were dismissed for 188, a lead of 51.
The C3s lost on first innings to the Northern Lions Gladiators at Wynnum Memorial Park. Ross Freiberg scored 75, and Michael McInerney 27, as Coorparoo was dismissed for 173. . The Gladiators replied with 9/213 (Andrew Swindells 2/13, Robert Guglielmi 2/33, McInerney 2/55).
The C1s lost by an innings and two runs to Ashgrove Astronauts at Enoggera Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 78 (Sam Rogers 22, Toryn Lee 20). Ashgrove responded with 129, a lead of 51 (Ken Parry 4/26, Rogers 2/14, Lee 2/18). Coorparoo was dismissed for 49 in their second innings.
Sub-District Cricket Round 13 starts next Saturday.
